found a penny today
laying on the ground
but its not just a penny
this little coin i found
pennies come from heaven
that's what my PAPA told me
he said angels toss them down
oh, how i loved this story
he said when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of a frown
So, don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue
It may be a penny from Heaven
That PAPA has tossed to you

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need,
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it ... "GRANDAD!”
Papa's little girl's
Papa's little girl's has eyes that are pretty blue,
they sit all day long in Papas chair playing Peek-A-Boo.
Now Papa's little girl's,incase you didnt know,
has big blue eyes and long blonde hair and her Papa's perfect nose.
Papa's little girl's runs in the door each day,
they are great grandaughter's he always used to say.
Papa's little girl's were devastated to learn her Papa died that day.
Papa's little girl's are still devastated today but they can still
talk to him in their own secret way.
Papa's little girl's wrote this poem one day while thinking about their Papa.
Every bit of this poem is true right down to the perfect nose.
We still cant believe he past away like that.
No signs or anything just poof and away he went.
Papa's little girl missess and thinks about him still today.
